USCCA Countering the Mass Active Shooter Seminar

The TRAEX Tactical Solutions / USCCA Countering a Mass Shooter seminar is designed to teach individuals how to respond to an active shooter situation. The seminar covers a variety of topics related to personal safety and security, including how to identify and avoid potentially dangerous situations, how to protect personal information, and how to protect oneself during an active shooter event.

The seminar includes the following topics:

  1. Mindset: Participants will learn how to develop a survival-conscious mindset and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
  2. Run, Hide, Fight: Participants will learn the three basic options for survival during an active shooter event – Run, Hide, Fight.
  3. Active Shooter Protocols: Participants will learn how to recognize an active shooter event and how to respond quickly and effectively.
  4. Evacuation and Lockdown: Participants will learn how to evacuate safely and how to respond to a lockdown situation.
  5. First Aid: Participants will learn basic first aid techniques, including how to treat gunshot wounds, to help themselves or others in an emergency.
  6. The emergency response by law enforcement and medical personnel during the event. 

The seminar is conducted in-person, by certified instructors, but it can also be in an online format, if requested. The seminar is designed to be interactive and engaging, often with real-life scenarios and simulations. The seminar is a great resource for any individual who wants to learn how to protect themselves and others during an active shooter event.
