HISTORY OF TRAEX

The name TRAEX stands for training and experience. It was created by Kendall Ide Lingle, my grandfather, who was an avid yachtsman, sailor, aviator, and civic servant focusing on youth at risk. The emblem used in TRAEX Tactical Solutions LLC is based on the flag he designed and had flown from his boats over many years.

On March 3, 1964, my mother, father and grandfather founded TRAEX Aviation Corporation, offering Cessna aircraft sales, flight training, charter flight services, and provided helicopter services to both the Oklahoma City Police Department, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, as well as a fixed base operation at Will Rogers field, Oklahoma City. The business was sold in approximately 1968, however the name TRAEX was the name of my grandfather’s wooden hulled Chris Craft boat, until his passing in December 1988. In honor of my grandfather, and father, I have named the company TRAEX Tactical Solutions LLC.
