TRAEX Child’s Safety Seminar
The TRAEX Tactical Solutions child’s safety seminar is a program designed to teach children how to stay safe in various situations. The seminar covers topics such as stranger danger, internet safety, traffic safety, personal safety, and emergency preparedness. The seminar is taught in person, and includes interactive activities, and role-playing exercises. The goal of the seminar is to empower children with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and make safe choices. The seminar is taught by senior law enforcement officers.
The safety seminar for children includes age-appropriate information and activities that are designed to educate and engage kids. The seminar includes discussions to help children understand and retain the information they are learning.
For example, the seminar covers topics such as:
- Stranger danger: teaching children to be aware of their surroundings and how to recognize potentially dangerous situations and people.
- Internet safety: educating children about the risks of sharing personal information online, as well as how to protect themselves from cyberbullying and other online dangers.
- Emergency preparedness: teaching children how to respond in case of an emergency, such as a fire or natural disaster, and how to plan with their family.
- How to call for help and what critical information needs to be given.
- Bullying: teaching children about the different forms of bullying, such as physical bullying, verbal bullying, and cyberbullying, and how to handle each situation.
- Traffic and pedestrian safety: teaching children about the importance of looking both ways before crossing the street, how to cross the street safely, and how to be aware of cars and other vehicles.
Provide your children with the insight to identify, plan, and elude suspicious people, events, and circumstances, through training, role playing, and discussions. Give them the confidence and knowledge to understand varying situations and to make the right decisions at the right time.
