USCCA Conceal Carry Course

A conceal carry course, also known as a “concealed carry permit” or “CCW” (concealed carry weapon) course teaches individuals how to safely and legally carry a concealed handgun.

The course covers the following topics:

1. Laws and regulations: Participants will learn about the laws and regulations surrounding concealed carry in their state or region, including who is eligible to carry a concealed weapon and where it is legal to carry.

2. Firearm safety: The course will cover basic firearm safety, including how to handle, store, and transport a firearm safely, as well as how to properly use and maintain a handgun.

3. Marksmanship: Participants will learn about the basics of marksmanship, including how to aim and shoot a handgun accurately, and how to handle different types of handguns.

4. Self-defense: The course will cover topics such as self-defense techniques, how to identify potential threats, and how to stay safe in the event of an emergency.

5. Legal considerations: Participants will learn about the legal considerations surrounding concealed carry, including how to use deadly force, how to interact with law enforcement, and how to handle a self-defense situation.

6. Situational awareness: Participants will learn how to be aware of their surroundings and how to identify potential threats in different environments.

7. Use of force: Participants will learn the legal and ethical considerations of using deadly force and how to deescalate a situation.

The course is taught by experts in the field, law enforcement professionals, firearms instructors, and other experts in the field of gun safety and security. It includes a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and real-life simulations.
